Prisoner of War

"Great Xbox game, a Must buy"
Great idea for a game, escape from a prison camp! Great idea, but I think if this game had just been giving a little more effort I'd be giving this game a perfect 10.
GAMEPLAY: Very fun with many different and unique things that you don't normally see in a game. Let me just go into depth on a few of the fun things you can do in this game and leave the rest for you to find it.
Games: Yes, you can actually play games in the prison. Like dice? Its got it! Like to throw rocks and knock over cans? You can do it, not only that while playing these games you gamble for much needed currency so you can buy items to fool guards and help your way to freedom.
Hide: A escape game with hiding, no surprise I'm sure but the many different ways you can go about it will leave you in Aww. Duck under a group of logs to avoid a spotlight, Hide under a bed or in a closet to make a guard think he's going crazy and just seeing things. Very fun and it really gets you going when you find yourself diving under a bed to hopefully avoid German guard patrols.
Buy smuggled items: Need a crowbar to break into that building? A mini-scope to check out the guard towers? If you got the currency all it takes is a little chat with the local smuggler. But than again, you got to get the currency to begin with, which isn't money but other things prisoner's would want and need. Cigarettes, candy, you name it.
And a lot more feature's which I'll leave to you to find out by yourself.
STORY: Great idea for a story, this game really has one of the best story lines for any of the games out for Xbox in my opinion. You, Captain Lewis Stone, Shot down over Germany are captured and are put in a German prison camp. While in your stay you find the Germans are building a new super-weapon. Your mission is to escape from the prison camp and get the news of the super-weapon to allied forces before its to late.
GRAPHICS: This is what the Xbox is about, so much detail into the prison camps and the people in them. I think there great and as good as they should be, The faces are great except for a few of the German guards. The people really do look like people from the way they walk to the way they talk.
REPLAYABILITY: I'd say its pretty good, didn't unlock all the secrets or get all the story the first time around? Don't redo the whole game, just the chapter. Not only that but there's more than one way to do nearly everything you have to do from climbing up a pipe or walking through the front door dressed as a German guard.
BUY/RENT: If you like ANY of the things I listed above I'd give it a buy. But if you own a Xbox I think at the very least you owe this game a rent. What's the worst you could lose? A few bucks maybe, but I think you'll get much more back than that. So give it a try and enjoy the game!
