Star Wars: Obi-Wan

Review by Quentonamos

"The Best Average Game Ever!"

All in all not to bad of a game, but not to great of a game either. This game does not use its potential, but even if it did, I doubt it would be a perfect 10. I mean how many times can a game go over the same story?

GAMEPLAY: Actually pretty fun, but at times you'll find yourself just using the same move over and over again for one reason, it works. Here's a few things I liked about the game.

SLOW MO! Its really cool to make it go slow mo as your chopping a driod in half. It doesn't really help you in any way, but its kind of fun to watch.

The Force: Finally a Star Wars game that uses the force to its potential. The greatest thing about this is everything you can do with it, disarm your enemy or shove them over a cliff, or take there weapon from them, even through objects at them with it.

The things I didn't like about this game aren't in the gameplay but more so in other topics.

STORY: Same old same old, just gives you a little more info into the star wars history. But for some people its reason enough to buy this game, it starts just before the movie begins and slowly enter's into where it begins. I'm not going to go to much into the story, because I don't want to ruin it for the game or the movie. You are Obi-Wan, which from the title of the game, I'm sure most of you have figured out. Strange thing's have been happening, and you are chosen to investigate.

GRAPHICS: This is what make's me not like this game. So many flaws that could have been avoiding making this game so much more worth your money. This is the major area that makes this game not as good as it could have been.

Voices: Wow, horrible. Sounds nothing like any of the character's from the movie. And some of the people in the city's voices are just annoying as well as your own.

Flaws: Your in the middle of a battle, you decide to throw you light saber at the oncoming enemy, but wait it gets stuck behind something letting them beat you until your almost dead. So many little bugs and error's like this ruin a game that could have just been so much more.

REPLAYABILITY: Its got some to it, some levels are really fun to play, and getting the medals for all the levels is another challenge in itself which, but than again that's all it is, it offers no more than a simple replay of the level with a little added challenge. I must admit every now and than I find myself putting it in my Xbox to just play a level that I like.

RENT/BUY: Fans of the movie, buy. Not fans of the movie, Rent. It's not the greatest game for Xbox, but I do believe its worth your time to check it out, maybe another review or a rental could help you decide.
