Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams

"THE best game I have ever played!!!!"

This is the best game ever in my opinion. Its only $30 now and is a steal. This is a Psychological Thriller and is extreamly scary at first! If you want a good game that is scary and compelling, BUY THIS GAME!!!!!

Story: 10/10
Well, you are James Sunderland who lost his wife 3 years ago and recently recieved a letter from her. She said she's waiting for him in their ''special place''. So James hops in his car and drives to Silent Hill. Where he finds the town all messed up and filled with monsters. He fights his way through and finds several other people there searching for someone of their own. Thats all Im gonna say because I dont want to spoil it for you.

Graphics: 10/10
The original Silent Hill 2 was a PS2 game. The graphics were pretty good concidering the realease date. But the one for XBox is just stunning. They were really state of the art and more detailed.

Gameplay: 10/10
The enemies were scary and disturbing. You get 3 guns and 5 melee weapons. The bosses were just plane creepy. Like Pyramid Head! This is the scariest of them all. Dont play this alone or in the dark because you will be scared at first.

Sound: 10/10
Well you get a radio to warn when there is an enemy near by. Then the noises the monsters make are just plane scary.

Controls: 10/10
Well, they are really simple to use. Not much to explain about these. R2 aim, d-pad. You can strafe and aim at the same time.

XBox extra: 10/10
Well, this is one extra you dont get for the one on PS2. You play as Maria, (someone who helps you through Silent Hill). She's trying to find out why she is there. She lost her will to live and wants to find out what has happened to the town. She wants to get the hell out of there. You get a magnum and a butcher's knife while playing as her. You also recieve an extra ending which is similar to the one in the original Silent Hill.

Replay: 10/10
Well with six endings and two hidden weapons you will want to get all of them really fast. There is a way to remove blotches and scratches on documents and files.

Rent or Buy:
BUY, BUY ,BUY!!!!! This is a must have game if you liked Resident Evil. While it beats the crap out of Resident Evil with its ''scarieness'' you will be pleased. Dont pass this game up if you can buy it!
