Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance

"A Solid action game."

I want to start my review by saying WOW! This is one extraordinary game! I mean the extra missions, the graphics, the music and sound effects, all kicked ass. The story will keep you on your seat wondering what will happen next,with all the twists and things you did not expect to happen. The game is great and if you are a fan of the other MGS games then I reassure you that you will like this. Now onto the review.

Graphics-10/10

The graphics are perfect,couldn't be better. They are so detailed in every way. If you have played MGS: SoL, then you know how good the graphics are. So what more can I say, other then the graphics are perfect in every way?

Controls-8/10

The controls are exactly the same as the PS2 controls. the only different control is that the first person view is activated with a click to the left analog stick. So, the controls are great, wouldn't change a thing.

Music/Sound effects-10/10

Perfect! The music is so great for the game, it is exactly what you would expect in a Metal Gear game. The sound effects are absolutely astounding. Could they sound any more real? Have you ever heard what a Nikita sounds like? How about a Socom? After playing this game, you will know. This really brings the game out and makes you feel like you are there.

Gameplay-10/10

Probably the best part of the game. You can do so, so much! You can hide in lockers, put bodies in lockers, roll, kick and punch, hide in boxes, kneel, crawl, sneak up on guards, snap necks, trip guards, and more. That is not all. There are 350+ VR missions. Trust me, that will keep you busy for a LONG time. Oh, and I almost forgot Snake Tales, side missions that are just for fun, I don't want to tell you too much about them. Like I said, this is probably the best part of the game.

Replay Value-10/10

There are many things you can do for the replay value. Play the game and get extra weapons. You can get stealth, ammo, and more. You can also play the VR missions, which will take a while to finish all, which will keep you busy. And if you really like the game you can just replay it for the hell of it(like me).

Story-10/10

The story is great. You will love the plot twists and things you did not expect. The story is exciting and will keep your adrenaline going for sure. You have to play to find out how good the story is!

Overall-10/10

Overall the game is great. One of the greatest games of date. An exciting game that will keep you on your seat excited for more. With all the side missions and things, you will be playing for a long time. So if you love Metal Gear games, then go buy this right now!
