Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4

"It just keeps on getting better."

Tony Hawk 4, sure we all seen it coming. But did we know it would be this great. By far this has to be the best Tony Hawk game out there yet. It just has so many great things you can do. Obviously this goes down as my favorite Tony Hawk game.

Gameplay 10/10 The gameplay is just superb. You can almost do anything you would want to do. Say goodbye to that annoying time limit they give you. You get to skate around and talk to people to accept missions. Create-a-player is better then ever. You can even adjust the sizes of there body. Chest size, leg size, etc.....

Graphics 10/10 The graphics are great. The detail on the characters and the surroundings are crisp. You get nice splats of blood when you decide to bail. If you keep on bailing your elbows get that stain of blood on them.

Sound 10/10 The sound is perfect. It comes with its own soundtrack in the game. Character voices are nicely done. It also has the feature for you to use your own soundtracks that you have.

Lasting Appeal 10/10 Career mode will take you awhile to beat. Then you can go out and find all the gaps to complete. Find all the cash icons so you can buy cheats, apparel, new decks and other great things. Also great if you have a buddy over. You can show him that he has no skills in the 2-player mode.

Side note - There are tons of extras in the game. You can buy new levels and characters. Also there are secret mini-games hidden throughout the levels. There are many added features such as custom restart, which lets restart to that exact point where you set it at. Also the replay mode is really cool. It shows what you just did and you start right where the replay left off. Its good just in case you get distracted and have to pause it for a while. Just come back and view the replay to get you back in the grove.

To rent or to buy? That is up to you to decide. Personally I don't really buy games that often. I usually just rent a game and beat it. If you don't got the money to buy then just rent it. But either way it is worth picking up.
