"Great Game!"

Story = 8/10

You are Buffy the Vampire Slayer. You need to slay vampires. There really isn't a story at the beginning of the game and I don't want to ruin anything. Later on in the game it does develop a story though. Basically all you do is chase down vampires including Spike.

Game Play = 10/10

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is an awesome game. You have to run around and kill vampires and other monsters. You can an assortment of weapons such as wooden stakes, brooms, mops, rakes, Holy Water, Hell Fire, crossbows, and the winged reaper which is a type of hand blade. You always have to kill vampires by either stabbing them through the heart, burning them to death, or spraying them with Holy Water. I also like when you fight some creatures, like zombies, who aren't as strong as vampires. When you fight them you can kick off their limbs so that they are on the ground crawling after you.

Sound = 8/10

The sound is pretty good. All the actors same voices from the TV show except for Buffy. The person who plays the voice of Buffy does a decent job. Sometimes she sounds like Buffy but sometimes she sounds nothing like her. The main thing I don't like is Buff talks to herself every 15 seconds. She says things like, ''Oops I did it again,'' which isn't really the first time and it only gets dumber as the game goes on. The background sounds are also very good. When your in a dark cave or near enemies the music gets faster and more intense. I admit I was startled by a vampire jumping out of a corner or in a tunnel more than once.

Graphics = 10/10

The graphics are great. All the people in the game look very similar to the people on the show. The vampires look very realistic and there are different types so they don't all look the same. The fire also looks realistic. For example if you step in fire only your foot catches on fire. One of my favorite things to do is stand somewhere where a vampire can't get me and shoot him with my crossbow. Since vampires only die when you shoot them through the heart you can just keep shooting at them until they become a human er.... vampire pin cushion.

Replay Value = 9/10

When you beat the game you'll probably want to play a specific part of the game again. In Buffy the Vampire Slayer you don't have to beat the game over again to get to a specific point. All you have to do is load your game to the point you want to play at. There is also 3 difficulties to add to the replay value.

But or Rent

BUY!!! You won't be sorry whether your a Buffy fan or not.
