Review by Ben Zetlitz

"I had no idea how good this game would be..."

I would like to say a few things before I start. This game is completely underrated. This is one of the best games ever created. With the great fighting system, the rag doll physics, and the highly destructible environments how could this game be bad?

Story = 9

You are John Anderton, a member of a future crime system called Pre Crime. Pre Crime is a system that can detect future crimes before they happen. For example, if someone were to kill someone in a few minutes, Pre Crime can detect it and get there before it happens so that they can save the life.

It turns out that there is a glitch in the system that saw you kill someone in the future that you are not going to kill. Now everybody is after you. With the help of your friend Barry and a few other connections that you have you must prove your innocence. The only thing I don't understand is, Why are you killing hundreds of people in order to prove that you didn't kill one?

Gameplay = 10

The fighting system is great and the moves are easy to learn. If you ever forget a move you can always look at the Combat Maneuvers on the pause screen. The detail to this game is awesome. Almost everything can break in one way or another. For example, You can throw someone through a window or through someone at a vending machine and a bunch of soda cans will pop out. There are about 30 different combos you can learn or buy.

You can also buy things during a level. This really helps when you are low on health because you can just buy body armor so you don't die. You can also buy weapons, strength boosts, and moves.

There are about 40 different levels to play. Most of the levels take 5 to 10 minutes to beat. There are also Pain Arena levels that you can unlock by beating major bosses. Pain Arenas are levels where you can see how many bosses you can kill without dying.

Sound = 10

Well, the music is good. The sound affects are good too. You can hear everything such as glass breaking or skulls hitting metal poles. In the cut scenes there is talking and no cheesy bubbles like in a few other games. Well, that about covers sound.

Graphics = 9

The graphics are good. They aren't spectacular but they aren't bad by any means. Everything is smooth and nothing is choppy. There are no body parts going through walls like there are in many other games. Some of the characters look like the ones from the movie but some of them look nothing like them.

Buy or Rent

Buy, you will not regret it. You can probably find it cheaper than $50 because it isn't as popular as most other games. There is also a lot of replay value. There are a lot of fun levels. Once you beat a level you can replay the level as many times as you want. There are also 3 difficulty settings which adds to the replay value.

Overall = 10

This is one of my favorite games ever. With all the fighting and breakable things you can never get bored. Nothing ever gets annoying and there are endless ways you can kill a man. I assure you this game will not disappoint you.
