Sega GT 2002

"Racing.. It will forever traumatize you look at racing games"

Sega GT 2002 I thought would just be some other racing game like Nascar and those kind of racing games but oh boy was I wrong. Im not the kind of person who likes, much less PLAY racing games. But when i first got my Xbox it came with it and I didnt have any money to buy games at the time so I was bored and decided to play Sega GT 2002 as my first XBox game. Its one of the best racing games on Xbox if not the best. If you liked Grand Turismo series then you'll be sure to love this game.

Gameplay 8/10: You are a guy who starts out with 13,000 dollars to buy your first car. You have 3 (I think) to select from cheap cars at first but as the game progresses then so do the cars that are available to buy and the more money you get for new cars and acessories to your car like better wheels, tune ups, brakes, better shocks, and all those things which make your car run better than ever. In order to get more money you must win races. In order to get farther in the game you must beat the first 3 tracks they have given you then you have to pass a test drive to get onto the 2nd level of the game which lay ahead of you 3 more tracks for your pleasure and enjoyment to try and pass. Besides those races there are also ''special'' races which allow you to win valuable trophies, plaques, and new and great cars. If the car you have is better you can just sell the car you are given.

Sound 6/10: The sound honestly is probably the biggest drawback of this game but shouldnt be taken into concern because its there in the whole game its alright music but not too great not much to really say about this area.

Graphics 7/10: The graphics are great cept for the audience but hey what racing game has good audiences! Same ol' flat people but thats besides the point. The cars in the game are very good and couldn't get much better. The tracks also are pretty good graphics. Like in most racing games the graphics are pretty good.

Replay Value 9/10: This game really is limitless on replay value cause really the only way to get tired of this game is play it 24/7 for a few years or get a new game that is pretty awesome! I still play this game and I have xbox live with Mech Assault, Halo, Unreal Championship, Ghost Recon, and a few other games I really dont want to mention cause its just waste of time.

Rent/Buy?: Well unless it came with your xbox already or you arent fond of racing games, its a rent to try it out atleast give it a chance to see if it is to your liking. If you are a diehard racing fan then this is a MUST HAVE for xbox because of the above reasons I've listed in this review. Its fun on singleplayer for a long time and even IF you somehow happen to get bored of it its always fun to try out the multiplayer option and play and compete against friends or family.
