Crimson Sea
Review by InitiaI D
"This game is awsome!"
Crimson Sea is a really great game. You start off as Sho and get more partners on the way through the game. You also get upgrades for your weapons.
Sound 10/10
Crimson Sea has really great sound effects. When you’re surrounded by tons of aliens or being ambushed, it sounds very realistic. The music is very good also. You can’t really say anything about the menu sounds. Cause I mean come on it’s the sound of changing selections, but I guess yeah its good also. So in my opinion I thought the sound was really good.
Controls 10/10
I thought the controls were pretty simple. It took me about five minutes to figure them out. The 180* degree turn comes in handy when your running from and enemy. Once you’re far enough ahead of the enemy tap the B button and blow the enemy to bits. The blade is good for close up fights and when you’re being attacked by 500 bugs.
Graphics 10/10
The graphics are unbelievable. The first time I played the game I was like………………………….WOW! But you know that most of these koei games have really good graphics. Especially the Dynasty Warriors games. I’m telling you the graphics of this game are really really really awesome (kind of like the game).
Gameplay 10/10
This game will keep you glued to the TV for hours (unless you beat it by then). The gameplay is awesome. The camera gets in the way a little, but not much. It may be hard to achieve an S ranking in all categories. One level you have like 5 partners with you, if one or your partners dies then you lose your S rank. Damage also affects your rank. Don't think if you recover your health with an item the damage goes off of your ranking. Unfortunately it stays. So on levels that have many enemies, watch your back.
Overall 10/10
This is a great game if you like non-stop action games. So if you’re wondering if you should rent or buy this game, I would buy it. If you only like these kinds of games until you beat them then I would suggest renting it. Although this game is still really fun to play on the second go around. You can either continue from the game you last played with all of your items, or if you want to try a harder mode then challenge crimson mode. So overall this is a really good game.
