"Must have for college basketball lovers."

NCAA Basketball 2K3 is a great game with some minor flaws but the overall experience makes up for it. It brings you right into the middle of the court with the fans jumping, coaches screaming, and players sweating their heart out to be the best team in the nation!
Gameplay (8 / 10)

Good. Many modes to choose from such as practice, season, exhibition, and the best career mode I have seen. In legacy mode you will be able to scout upcoming players, and makes various choices that will affect your team for the good or bad. One thing I don't like about the game is that it is wayyy to easy to steal the ball. I can simply rack up 30 steals on my press. Also it is very common for people to miss a basket right under the hoop. But other the game plays very realistically. Online play is great too! Oh yea. I would have liked actual players names to not random ones. The animation is very smooth. Dunks look real and same with lay ups,. It may be hard to make threes at first but you have to learn certain plays to get your men open and it will have a better chance of going in. Also when in legacy mode you get to be able to play in high school all-star games to figure out who looks hot and who doesn't because you will need to fill gaps once your seniors leave. Or players might leave early to go into the NBA or transfer to another school because they don't get enough playing time. So scouting is very important!

Sound (9/ 10)

The announcers are good and I don't find that they repeat themselves alot but I might be wrong. The crowd really get you involved with the game. They will taunt, yell and jump when the away team is shooting a free throw or when it is a tight game.

Graphics (8/ 10)

Graphics are ok. The crowd looks really ugly up close but far away looks good. Coaches need a tune up. The stadiums are really good and the players look ok while some look rather goofy.

Replay Value (9 / 10)
This is where the games shines. The legacy mode alone could keep you playing just by scouting players and trying to take your team to the best in the nation. The games has many modes so you will never get tried of it. If you do you could play online against other people!
