Project Gotham Racing

"The most ground-breaking racing game in years!"

I loved this game everytime I played it, and then my friend told me that he'll sell me the game for $15 CND! I accepted instantly and never regretted it (especially since the game was in perfect condition). Right off the bat you'll see that Project Gotham Racing is one of the best looking games ever.

Gameplay: Some might say that it is really annoying turning corners because the car crashes most of the time but just think: if your driving 150 KM/H down a street and then you instantly turn a corner, 99.9999% of the time you would spin out of the street unless theres a wall there, ouch! There are also lots of camera angles for you to choose from while driving but I personally love the bumper view because it is easier to see when you hug the corners. The menu is kind of confusing though manly for people who just got the game because lots of the options seem the same but its because of all the options this game has so once you know all the different types of races you'll get through the menus easily. This game is alot of fun because it mixes speed and style which might get annoying at first but it gets really entertaining once you start getting good at the game. 9/10

Graphics: This game is one of the most beautiful games I have seen ever! The cars take a beating throughout the race and you can see it! When its really sunny, the light reflects off the cars which really shows you how hard the developers worked on getting the look as important as the gameplay. The maps look really great and realistic such as New York, the developers showed the different types of places in New York like the big buildings or the long highways. The front lights also reflect onto the ground exactly where the car points to and it is as useful in the game as you need it in real life. This game is really good looking that I can't mention all the great stuff the developers did or this review will go on forever. 10/10

Sound: You get radio stations with hosts and everything! It brings the feel of sitting inside a Mercedes Benz listening driving down the city but your going really... really fast! You can also use your ripped music in this game which I use alot. This feature really helps when you heard all the songs in the game 10 times. I picked lots of the up beat songs so that when I hear the song it really gets me hyped up and I think the developers put this feature in for that exact reason! 10/10

Replay Value: Once your done all the tracks on each difficulty there is not much to do unless you can collect a couple of friends and race! You can also try to beat your best track times over and over, once you do that too, Project Gotham Racing 2 will be out so pick it up! 7/10

Buy/Rent: Now that its a platinum hit there is absolutely no reason for every xbox owner to have this game! IMO this is the best racing game ever so don't skip this game especially if your really into cars because it has a wide selection of cars! Buy

Overall: If your even a mild racing fan you'll enjoy playing this game. PGR's gameplay doesnt get any better on any platform out now so if your worrying that the developers concentrated too much on the graphics, your wrong! Buy It. Play It. Enjoy It! 9/10
