James Bond 007: NightFire

"Got to admit, it's getting better, getting better all the time"

Why is it getting better? because its better then AUF, getting better all the time? because you can unlock stuff or enter in codes to make this game better!

This game, is a first person-shooter, and as a first person shooter, it automatically gets a minimum of 3. Second, this game is bond, that makes it now a minimum of 4!

Now for the actual review.

You are Bond, and this game lives up to the Bond image, suave, and has women crawling all over him. Most of the missions have him at one point or another, making it with hot bond chick! They do an excellent job of the graphics making the women very beautiful in the first mission, and other missions.

Graphics, aren't much better then AUF, however, they are still good. The graphics are what you might expect on the current Next-Gen systems. But if you are here to check out the bond chicks.... dont get this game. Get DOAXBV...

This game has a nice amount of missions all with with 3 difficulty settings that can keep you busy for awhile, trying to get the rewards. You get a certain amount of points based on what you did while playing a level, and if you get enough points for that level you unlock something. So there is replay value for the missions. Also, if you dont want to EARN your unlocks, there is a place where you can enter codes to unlock cool MP stuff like characters, and styles of gameplay, and upgrades on weapons.

Then there is multiplayer on BOND, the multiplayer is very well advanced with up to six bots you can use, different styles of gameplay like Team CTF, ctf, King of the hill, Team king of the hill, assassination, goldeneye strike, and others where you simply just attacked the other team, or hunt down a specific person. You can have the option of throwing in mounted weapons, and have explosive scenery. Here is the one downfall compared to AUF, there are no options like low gravity, one hit kill, etc. etc. they dont have that anymore, and the Grapple(q-claw) doesn't work on anything you want it to anymore. There is no longer a q-jet either.

But for the most part the MP is excellent.

The controls, the controls for this game are some of the best out there, i haven't found an option where you can set your own buttons, but they have a lot of layouts premade for you to choose from with cool names like Nightfire, and goldfinger. I chose an option that was similar to the controls of Halo, because those were the ones i were used to, but i am sure they will have a set that you will like.

This game has a great storyline, because HEY, its BOND! Bond is can't miss storyline!
