"Kicks major behind, but has its flaws"
First of all, when i first saw this game i thought it had potential. I thought it would do good and it did, yet it didn't totally satisfy me. It was short lived and it left me wanting more out of this. It had its flaws but it also had its good points.
Gameplay 7/10: The controls in this game are bad, and hard to use at first. Once you get like 20 to 30 minutes into the game you start to get used to it. Its not that hard to control but at first it can be really frustrating. Also accessing your menus and navigating through the places is very well done. The game itself isn't too bad but at times it gets highly repetetive and tedius.
Story 8/10: This game's story has its twists and it will pretty much hold your attention for a while. The story is very straight forward and will keep you guessing what is going to happen next. The story progresses without confusing you which is a plus.
Graphics 9/10: The graphics are top-notch, the clothes that the people are wearing are cool, and the leader ''Live-D'' will certainly hold certain people's attention. The clothes, the backgrounds, the weapons, the enemies they are all great. Some bosses are kind of lame while others are totally tight. To make a long story short the graphics are great and the FMV are stunning great work on the graphics.
Sound 7/10: Nothin special here, just your typical laser sounds and some decent voices not too bad, but i think it could have been better, in some fast paced scenes however the music really picked up, therefore hooking you farther into the game. Average work on this part ot the game.
Replayability 5/10: You can beat the missions over and over and over again if you're one of the people that like to have perfect scores. The game offers some kind of replayability, but its only really useful if you wanna get 100% in the game. Not too good but its not so bad.
Rent or Buy?: I say rent it, no point in spending 50 dollars on a game that you can beat in less than 15 hours. This game is fairly short, but the game is definately worth a rent. Who knows maybe when the prices goes down you'll want to buy it. But in the meantime rent it first then decide what you wanna do with your 50 dollars.
