Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus

"The Fist Tao Feng Throws Is The Wrong Way..."

Hey, i have borrowed this game from a friend and i have played through most of the game and i just don't like it.If you had to relate it to the big boys like dead or alive3,soul calibur2,and maybe tekken this just doesn't meet standards or come even close.Let me tell you why....

Gamplay(3/10)
-Well this i guess is ok.There's some combos like maybe 8 or so a character.Responce of buttons is sometimes slow,and the limb damage in the game usually is ALWAYS the arm.It's still a great addition but needs more work.Also if your new to this game the game period will take tons of time to learn.You can use objects around you for attacks etc.The gameplay is kind of stiff too,like when you do moves they move stiff and not free like they do in soul calibur and dead or alive.

Graphics(9/10)
-The only thing the game really shines on.Backgrounds not the greatest or else this would get a 10.But graphics are top notch,near dead or alive's level.The faces,and bruises on a character looks great,and the limb damage factor is on the right track as it looks to be real.

Story(2/10)
-Story isn't good In my own opinion.One side going against the other,good vs.evil.Same original story line.You'd think since a guy from mortal kombat helped this game would probably make sense to be just as good.

Sound(5/10)
-Sound is like it is in every games,sounds from blasts,punches,and kicks gives sound like ''uh,....ouch'' etc.Just like any other normal sound in a game.

Replayabilty(1/10)
-There is no reason at all,to play this game over and over game,infact there is no reason to keep it in your xbox for over an hour.There is nothing but two secret people to get and to do that you just beat quest with every character per side

Buy Or Rent
-Yep This basically sums it up,this game is a rental....to me it's not even worth it,but i guess if you like games like mortal kombat deadly alliance, you could have something for this game though i would doubt it.Everyone rating this game giving it 10's,9's,8's even 7's is lying to you.This games gameplay is slow and mediocore, the sound is nothing special, there is no point in replaying it, and the graphics is crisp and right in place.Maybe next time they will get it right if there's a sequel. 5$ is fine but 0$ isn't a bad choice either.By the way the label on the game being from a creator of mortal kombat is bogus to get you to buy their pile of junk.
