"The best there is..."

Wolverine always claims he's the best there is at what he does(And what he does best is slice bad guys up into little bite size chunks). And this game almost proves it! It falls a few paces short of the mark in certain areas but what the game

Story line: This is the place to start. You find out that during your time with the Weapon X program you were infected with a virus designed to kill you. A fail safe if you ever escaped. Nice people, eh? Well, after all this time the virus has activated and you have 48 hours to find the cure. I thought this was a great idea, it felt like it could be coming directly from the comics. 9/10

Graphics: Here's where the game really falls short of its true potential. While the graphics are an easy match to most of the other games out there, it feels kind of clumsy. It's sort of like Activision just slapped together the general frame work of the graphics engine and forgot to put in all the fine details that make a game really visually stunning. 7/10

Sound: The sounds nothing special. It sets the mood nicely, and everything makes the right noise. (Nothing sounds quite like that ''Snikt!'' when the claws come out) The great thing is that you can use your own sound track. You can slice up the baddies to any tune you like. 8/10

Controls: They take a little getting used to, and at first it has all the feel of a button masher, but once you get the feel for it, it's really easy to slice things up! 9/10

Game play: This game is really tough at times. Sometimes you'll have to play through a level five or six times before you figure out what you need to do, and sometimes even three more times just to do it. Especially the stealth missions, a lot of them end the instant you're spotted, or at least the instant the guard that spotted you hits the alarm. I usually hate this kind of thing, and will stop playing a game for months at a time if I have to do the same thing again and again just to get to the spot where I screwed up. But in this game I found it rather enjoyable, every time I had to re-do a level I became that much better at it, that much more ''wolverine-esque'' until I can run through a level without being spotted and putting the ''snikt!'' on every guard without being spotted. 9/10

Anyways, I'm a huge Wolverine fan and maybe that's why I can forgive this game some of it's bigger faults, but despite these faults this is the best game focused on Wolverine I've seen, possibly ever!
