Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War

Review by TheEnforcer1

"Great Game!"

I have always loved the Wolfenstein series. This game was even better than i expected. This game brings new meaning to the series. The multiplayer mode is stupendous. And bringing Live into the equation just improves the experience. I do not have a good computer to run the game on it, but I think I would like the Xbox Version more. Just because of the Live Aspect, and Voice Communication. Overall, this is a MUST BUY for Xbox Live owners. And I am not a big fan of FPS, but this game, I just had a great time with, and continue to have on Xbox Live. This game is supposed to take place in World War Two. In single player mode you are B.J. In multiplayer mode on Xbox Live, you can choose to be the Alides or the Axis. I personally join whatever team is down players. As I said before, this game is a BLAST online

Graphics - 9/10

These are great graphics. The visuals are overall great, and I think the game is put together tight. The blood spewing after you shoot or stab your opponent is great to see, and is overall realistic. Except for the fact that no bodyparts fall off or anything when you shoot them.

SINGLE PLAYER Game - 7/10

This game is not very well known for the single player. If you do not have XBox Live, I do not advise you go out and buy this game. I instead suggest a rental. Overall though, the game is tolerable in single player, just not anything too great. Because of the fact the missions are repetitive. The single player gets bland after a while, and might just start to bore you.

Multiplayer Game aka-Xbox Live - 10/10

Although this game has a co-op mode, I have yet to try it out, so I personally wouldn't know how it is. But what I have tried out is the XBox Live! aspect of the game.
What can i say? This game is nearly perfect online. There is the eventual lag, but this isn't going on all the time. It depends on the game your playing, your host, and the people in the room. But this is preventable as long as your in a good game, with a good host. I love the Live aspect of the game, and haven't really played the Single Player mode since. Very good feature to have.

Replayability - 10/10

That is IF YOU HAVE XBOX LIVE. The replay is endless as long as you are online. There are great people online, and my friends list is filling up quick. Although you may get the occasional little kid swearing/screaming into the mic, you can just mute him or vote to boot him out. I am happy with my purchase of the game, as I have Xbox Live, and have not been able to pull myself away from it. I am sure you will also find this game to be quite fun on Live. And I hope to see you on.

Overall, this is a great Live! title, but an average single player. So I advise, rental for single player, MUST BUY for LIVE!
