Game Play 10/10
The game play is good. You skate around performing various tasks such as getting a high trick score, collecting the letters ''S'' ''K'' ''A'' ''T'' ''E'' and more. You earn new levels by finishing objective on the maps. Also, there are some levels that are skate tournaments that you need to get a medal in to finish the level. Cash can be earned by finding it throughout the levels and can be used to buy new boards and tricks.

Graphics 7/10
The Tony Hawk series is known for its sub-par graphics, but this one is quite better. The levels have lots of colors and are detailed. The skaters almost look like the real life versions and the boards look better than ever. Also, if you unlock the levels from THPS 1 you will notice a nicely added graphics update on the levels. Despite a few clipping issues the graphics are above average and are great for a THPS game.

Controls 9/10
The controls are beautiful. They are tight, easy to learn, and easier to use. The tricks are so easy to pull off in this game because of the simple controls. You steer with the analog stick and do tricks with the X,Y,B buttons while the A button performs an ollie. There is one thing that makes the controls one point from perfection and that is the specials that never seem to want to work no matter how hard and fast you try to do them.

Sound 10/10
The sound is awesome. The skateboard rolling and and doing kick tricks sounds just like a real one. The grinds sound realistic too and will have a different sound depending on the type of material you are on. (stone, metal ect.ect.). The music is also great with punk rock from street bands. But the reason this gets a 10/10 is because you can load your own music onto the xbox and use it in the game! It doesn't get better than listening to your favorite bands or songs in a video game.

Overall 9/10
To be honest this game is addictive and loads of fun. The controls are fantastic and so is the sound. You will spend many hours trying to finish all the levels and collect all the skateboard. Also there are a couple of secrets to unlock that make the game even more fun. The best part of the game is even people who don't like extreme sports will like this game so have all your friends come over and play 4 player split screen. This game is the best skating around.
