"Bonkers, just plain crazy!"

You'll soon find out why it's crazy.

Graphics (7): The graphics are pretty good. The courts are cool-looking, I see no jaggies, and usually, the players look similar to the real-life players. However, occasionally, some of the players look off. These victims are quite often the old-school ballers (example: Larry Bird).

Sound (10): The sound on this game is incredible. It comes with a giant list of tracks to listen to. You can pick which ones you want to listen to, and which one you don't by turning them on and off on the playlist. Heck, there's two versions of just about every song, the rapper version and the remix version. Bobbito Garcia, is an accurate, and sometimes hilarious commentator. And if you want him to shut up (I never have), you can just turn the commentator volume all the way down. Occasionally, you can hear the players on the court talking smack. The regular noises, such as a swish-sound, or dribbling, are pretty accurate. Except, if their is a silence in between the songs, you may hear the players walking. It sounds like a waddling sort of sound! But that's a minor flaw in the midst of the awesome sound.

Gameplay (10): Finally, the heart and soul of the review is here. There are so many modes of gameplay. First, you can go to Street School, where Stretch, a Streetball legend, will teach you how to play. There are many things you can do. You can do an unbelievable amount of tricks, you can do an off-the-heezy (where you bounce the ball of the defender's head), a back-to-papa (where you throw the ball at the backboard and have it come back to you to fake the defender out), do some amazing dunks, alley oops, and your normal basketball stuff. But, there is something else that is pretty cool. They are called gamebreakers. As you do tricks and dunks, you get trick points. As you accumulate trick points, a little bar right by your score goes up. When it gets filled up all the way, you can do a gamebreaker. A gamebreaker is a shot that is very hard to block, and will almost always go in (if it is anything less than a half-court shot). Not only does this give some easy points, but it makes the opposing team lose a point! Instead of using it, you could pocket the gamebreaker. When you do this, your gamebreaker is saved. Build up your trick points so the bar fills up again. Now you can do a gamebreaker 2! This shot cannot be blocked! It never misses (unless it's from half-court or farther)! And however the shot is done, it will look cool. This gives you a guaranteed two points, and the opponent will lose three or four points! There are several other modes of play. There is pick-up mode, where you can play your friends. There is NBA Challenge. This is where you travel and defeat NBA teams, after you beat 5 or 6 teams, you can take on 3 old-school ballers. When you beat them, you unlock them, and now you can play as them! There is Be A Legend mode, this is where you create your own baller, you have him travel the country, and defeat street legends, you build up your stats and your team as you go. Completing these modes can result in unlocking a lot of good stuff.

Overall (10): This game is awesome! Don't rent it, buy it! Go! Buy it now!
