Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams

"A great horror game for your collection!"

This is truley a terifying piece of art. This game lead's you into to the small, dark, tucked away town known as Silent Hill. A letter is sent to you signed by your late wife, Mary Sunderland. But how could she have sent it if she passed away in the hospital? In the letter it says she wants to meet you in your two's special place. It is your job to find out who sent the letter, and to locate the ''Special place''

Controls ''7''- The controls are set up in two different ways, 2D and 3D. The 2D plays like a flat screen side scrolling game. And the 3D's play's like Resident Evil's.
I like using the 3D's, because the 2D's is a little clunky, especialy on the Xbox's controler. But you should use what ever is more comfortable for you.

Graphics ''7''- The graphic's are dark and VHS's quality like. It realy add's to the horror, it makes you feel like you are actualy watching a very scary movie unfolding right in front of you. It is a very cool efect indeed. But there is a filter you can unlock by doing certian thing's, that lets you turn the staticky picture off, to a smooth DVD like quality.I still prefer it staticky, because with it all smooth it reduces the scare factor, dunno why, just does. No dought they are great graphic's, but they do not push the Xbox's hardware capabilities to far.

Enemy's ''10''- There are some truley dark, twisted enemy's in this game. Although the game could of used a couple more monster's here and there. But it still has enough creativity to make you think how these people came up with such bizarre, dark, twisted creatures. Way more creative and scarier monsters then the usual 'zombie' (Yawn). These are the best monster's ive seen in a video game in a very long time. And i think once you see them for yourself they will permenantly mess your psychy. =)

Story ''8''- The story is about James Sunderland's wife, But mysteriously someone sends him a letter telling him to come to Silent Hill. But the letter is signed Mary, ?o_0? You have to figure who realy sent that leader, and why she wants you to come back to the creepy town, Silent Hill.

Extras- This game comes packed with some pretty interesting extra's such as, extra ending's,other playable charecter's and extra scenarios to play. Truly great extra's in this game. And i think that you will enjoy it also.=)

Over all''8''- This is a great piece of gameing history, especially it you enjoy the survival horror Genre.By ''Far'' scarier then any Resident Evil game, dont get me wrong RE's are very good games, but Silent Hill's have that something that the RE series just dont have. This is by far the best survial horror game ive played. Definelty worth picking up if you want to have a good/scary fun time for month's to come.And if you realy want to be scared out of your mind, then play this at night, by yourself, with the volume on your TV turned up, and all the light in your house turned off. You may not think it is that scary, but once you play it, I guarentee you, it will scare the crap out of you!
