"The game of souls and swords"

This game is one of the absolute best fighting games. It's graphics are top of the line(at least for GCN and Xbox). The game has excellent fighting. The game has an actual decent story. The game even has tons of replay. It has it all.

Graphics-10
Now many people have said how these graphics are not much of an upgrade from SC1. I might have to agree with them. The graphics, though, are very very good. The reason why these games have similar graphics is that SC1's graphics were way ahead of their time. These graphics are beautiful. From the landscapes and weapons, all the way down to Taki's.....um chest area.

Controls-10
One thing that I hate is when people whine about each consoles controls. Everything is about opinions. I don't really know how to rate them. If it really bothers you, you could always buy adapters to play with any controller. Or even buy arcade sticks. Anyway, the moves in SC2 are easy enough to play and hard enough to master. Making this game fun for anyone (hey that ryhmes).

Gameplay-10
As I said in the controls, the game is easy to get playing right away and be a decent fighter. That doesn't mean it is easy to master. In fact, it can be very difficult to master (especially if you use someone like Ivy).The game runs smoothly and has the 8-way run system. Gameplay is the best.

Story-8
Although games like fighting games don't really have much of a story, this one does. It kind of gets repetitive but what game seires doesn't have one. It is fairly good but to understand stuff, you should go to the website of soulcalibur.com.

Replay-10+
Weapon Master mode is where all the replay value really is technically. Here you journey for the soul edge as the character you want. Along the way you unlock Weapons for characters to use. There is alot and it can make for many different battles. You can also unlock pictues and costumes and characters and exhibitions and and and and.......anyway, the Weapon Master mode is long so yeah.
Lots of replay.

Well there you have it. SC2 is da bomb. If you don't have it, get it. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course this is just an opinion. And this is just a great game. The game is also on PS2 and GCN if you don't have an Xbox. Ummm......got to use up space. Umm. I know.
