"This is how the game is played on the Street."

First and foremost, I'd just like to say that this is the single handedly best Xbox basketball game available PERIOD. Street Hoops, the 2k series, and Live just doesn't hit the bulleye's like NBA Street Volume 2 does. Filled with everything you can possibly imagine, Street has it all. The NBA Stars along side with the Classic Stars playing in over 15 different courses, and some of the best tricks ever seen in a Street game. The easy to understand and pick up controls, trash talking announcers, fancy passes and baskets, and up to four players as well is freaking amazing. A basketball game doesn't get much better then this. Micheal Jordan, Allen Iverson, Kobe Byrant, Wilt Chamberlain - the best ballers unite, you know where its all at. NBA Street also features the ability for you to make your own player and play as him.

The graphics get the juice flowing. Great stuff, surprisingly detailed players, courts, backgrounds, and smooth flow to the gameplay as well. The camera angles and everything else is perfect. The framerate is smooth, never drops, and has you begging for more. The only thing that I wish for is that the game came available in 1080i for the sharpest picture quality out. The soundtrack is pretty great as well. Some very nice rap songs - something you'd only here on the street, however it would have been even more nice if you could have included your own custom soundtrack. Unfortunately, EA never goes out of their way for any console other than PS2.

As for the game, passing and shooting feels dead on. It's easy for both offense and defense and doesn't have you ripping your hair out training to be the master. You can do several tricks such throwing the ball to the basket and back, throwing it on the other players head, ally-ops (passing to a player in midair that dunks the ball), and lots of others as well. This game is not only fun, but you will come back to it again and again with your friends. During the game, the more tricks you do, the higher your trick meter will go. Once it releases a certain point, fancy music starts playing as the ball brights up the court. Then, simply perform a basket and you will see the most unbelievable cut scene ever. Being a baller myself, I would recommend this game to anyone no matter the price. It is totally worth it. The graphics, the depth, the sound - this is one of the best ballin' games out there. Now if it wouldn't hurt EA for some Live support...
