Love mech games do you? Well you've found the right game. Phantom Crash is a game where you control a mech-like vehical called a Scoobie. Its set in the future where Tokyo is a deserted and ruined place. You basicly fight, or ''rumble'' for money.

Graphics:10

The graphics in this game are spectacular. Its so detailed and looks very realisitic. From the wavely like effect of the blistering heat to the perfect lighting in the night arena's. You can't go wrong in this catagory.

Gameplay:8

The gameplay is most likely what your wondering about. It's very simple to understand. You get money from destroying other ''Scoobies'' while they try to do the same. You can also earn cash by destroying flammable objects like cars and such. This point of a rumble is to earn cash while the cash is for parts. This is just like a standard mech game in some ways. You can have 2 shoulder weapons, 2 arm weapons, a leg type(4 wheel, 2 wheel, 4 hover, 2 hover...etc.) and a body. With all that there is a new concept added to this game, Stealth. Not hiding in bushes but actually STEALTH. Remeber Predator vs. Alien. Yeah its kinda like that. You can hide for as long as you have the energy to which will recharge after you turn it off. You can also buy parts to increase the time. Another addition is the ''customization'' of parts. You can either make each of your parts Heavier or Lighter. Heavier parts can make your scoobie heavier but more strong and durable while lighter parts enable more ammo and lightness but at the price of weaker attack and less durability.

Sound:9

I prefered the music in this game. It can be a light kind of J-pop to all kinds of Metal. Its pretty cool though because you have to buy your music from the shop to hear it while rumbling. Don't worry though its pretty cheap.

Storyline:6

There isn't much of a story about you but the world does revolve around other people too. You'll see some of the funniest and realistic conversations like about love problems, and some of the weird.

Controls: 8

They might take getting used to because of their placement but once you get used to them they'll be second nature.

Replay:10

Once you beat the game you'll still be able to continue and earn money to fix up your scoobie to make it even better. There is also a Multiplayer mode for up to 4 people to make it even more fun.


If you are looking for a fun game with a long replay value then I suggest getting Phantom Crash. It's worth the work.
