SoulCalibur II

"I will show you the greatest game!"

When I first heard that Soul Calibur 2 was coming to Xbox I was excited. I liked the first one a lot and I thought this game was going to be a sure fire hit. Just what I thought this is an awesome game that any fighter fan should pick up.
Concept- This is a fighting game as you know but it has a good story to go with it. People all around the world are traveling around to get the legendary Soul Edge. Some for the power and some to destroy the evil sword.
Graphics- The game's beginning movie is really awesome and the graphics were great. The graphics in this game though are great and they are good on the eyes. You will be amazed at how each character is so detailed and the face expressions they make. So if your looking for a game that uses a lot of power for the Xbox then this is the game for you. I'm telling you that you won't be disappointed.
Sound- The music,sound,and voice acting are very well done. Like how they scream and scream after you deliver a blow,or the clash of the weapons when you use your guard blow. The voice acting is pretty good. I was surprised at how well their voices matched the movement of their mouths. The music is awesome in my opinion. You will pick one level so that you can hear that favorite song you like. The music is all around good it makes the game have a good atmosphere at certain levels.
Playability- This game is very fun. But even though it has great gameplay it can still have a few flaws. The game is weird... you can play it as a button masher or memorize all the combos. Even though this happens for some reason the button masher always comes on top. The controller is a little awkward at first but you will get used to it. I prefer the Xbox controller over the Game cube one when playing this game. The worst thing is this game is the computer. After a while they will get you in non-stop chain attacks that do not let you get off the ground. There are a lot of things to do in this game,unlock characters, unlock costumes, buy weapons, profiles, weapon master mode, and my favorite is the weapon demonstrations.
Entertainment- This game will last you a while. There is a lot of stuff to do in it. It feels so good when you beat a hard level in weapon mode, or when you show off your skills to your friends. But the best thing that will always keep you hooked is to play this game with your friends. Each time my friends come over they always want to play. So if you need a game to play with your friends then you should definitely pick it up.
This has to be one of my favorite fighting games. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. So far I have the timer clocked at fourteen hours, and it doesn't look like its slowing down.You will definitely be playing this game for a while. You shouldn't miss out on this game. It's a sure fire must buy for any Xbox fan. If you own a Xbox and are looking for a game, and even if you don't like fighting games you should give it a chance. I hope you take my advice and buy this classic... I'm betting money that most people will enjoy this game. So all you gamers out there do me a favor will you? Go out to your local video game store and buy this game!
