Midtown Madness 3

This is the most fun I have ever had with a driving game. It is sooooo much fun! But anyway, on with the review.

Graphics: 9/10 The graphics are excellent. But they're not as sharp as a game like in the Gran Turismo series, and those are Playstaion One and Playstation Two games! The main reason I gave it a nine and not a ten, was because one time, when I failed a pizza mission in D.C., I crashed and got a close-up on some leaves. They looked horrific! Another thing is that when you run into pedestrians (yes you can run into them), your car goes right through them. Another thing is that you can drive right through some trees, and other times you just bump into them. But for the good things now. Damage is very realistic, because if you want to see the front of your extremely damaged car, just shift into Reverse, and voila. You can see holes in your window! I could go on, but I need to get on with the rest of the review.

Sound: 8/10 Crashes sound realistic, sharp turns sound realistic, everything sounds too realistic. That is why I find the sound effects pretty boring. But they get eight points for sounding realistic. Too realistic. Okay let's move on.

Music:10/10 You may think I love the music during the driving that is preset. Well, I don't. Then you might be asking why, why, oh why I gave it a ten. Two words for you.
CUSTOM SOUNDTRACKS, BABY. Wooooooooo! While driving, I can listen to Sonic! Oh yeah! Anyway, on with the review.

Game Play: 10/10 This game is excellent! I love it! The first Crazy Taxi type game that I actually like! You can deliver Pizzas in races and a whole lot more fun stuff. Okay, time to move on.

Story: N/A You drive around doing ridiculous tasks such as delivering pizza in 2:45 minutes while avoiding traffic and a woman trying to destroy the pizza because she is mad because you got a bonus and she didn't. I couldn't find a story in that!

Controls: 9/10 Five words. Much better than Crazy Taxi. The kept confusing me in Crazy Taxi. Not here. Only one problem though. If you are in gear 4, and you need to reverse you have to keep pressing the X button. Then you have to work your way up back to four.

Extras: 10/10 There is Xbox Live support, you can make a license plate, there are cars to unlock, as I mentioned before, custom soundtracks, etc.

To Buy or rent: Buy it. It is an excellent game. Don't hesitate. Buy it. NOW! Go already!
