"Dino Slag 3!!! This game is more use as a coffee coaster... but it has some saving factors"

Overall:
Dino Crisis 3 is set on a spaceship which was lost 300 years ago and is now overrun with dinos! Yay... or not. Anyways, it's pretty basic plot, but overall the game looks great at first glance... The graphics look spectacular, the screenshots were great, in game movies were awesome, fairly nice presentation, but, looks can be deceiving.

Graphics:
Kudos! The graphics in this game are AWESOME, ingame graphics are great, no slow downs, and the cinematics are gorgeous. Not much to be said here except the graphics are truly awesome. The graphics rival those of Splinter Cell and Halo, so, you know they're good. There's not much improvement that could be done here.

Gameplay:
Dun dun dun.... The gameplay is..... mediocre. The camera can be frustrating but you can get used to it after awhile. But who likes to shoot at what they can't see? The game would have been much better if it took a third person perspective BUT followed your character around. (i.e. Dynasty Warriors 4) Fixed camera is definitely an issue, but it's one that can be bearable.... If you have nerves of steel, that is. Anyways, the controls are pretty simple, but get comfortable with that jetpack.... Or you're dino dinner.

Sound:
Okay, the sound, is alright. There's nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible either. The voice acting seemed alright to me, and the gun effects, dino roars, etc were well done. But it's not like the theme song's going to be stuck in my head, either. (i.e. Halo or Morrowind.)

Final Comments:
Dino Crisis 3 is a mediocre game. It's fun, but also frustrating. I like the game, but personally I would have returned it if I didn't accidentally wash my receipt with my shirt... Anyways, Dino Crisis 3 is a solid game which you could enjoy. But who wants a 'playable' game when you can get a 'good' or 'great' game?

Suggestions to developers:
Fix the bloody camera for crying out loud!!!!!!! The camera RUINED what could have been a truly blockbuster game. I would have enjoyed this game twenty times more if it wasn't for the bloody camera!!!!!!! Maybe we will see Dino Crisis 4, but I don't plan on buying it if I don't see that Camera fixed!!!!!!

Buy it, or rent it?
Definitely rent, if you like the game great, if you don't, you just saved yourself $45. Trust me, the $5 you spend on renting it is worth it. Or at least play the demo. It gives you a feel for the game, and some people will love this game, some will hate it. Or some will be like me, and fall inbetween.
