Freedom Fighters

Let me start off by saying, if anybody says that this game has a poor storyline, the controls suck, etc., etc.. DON'T believe them they are just plain lying this is one of the best squad-based combat games out, which I'm not sure if they're are that many. Well, anyway it is a great game and should be added to anybody's game collection.

Story 7/10- You play as a plumber who rises to the challenge when his city is invaded by the Soviets. The Soviets begin to take over parts of the U.S. shortly after WWII. This is your challenge: to help stop the Soviets from taking over your country.

Graphics 9/10- The graphics are based on those of Hitman and they are extraordinary. There are no glitches so far as I can see as many people have said. I don't see any problems.

Sound 7/10- The music is kind of well, boring. Unless your a big fan of eerie orchestral, which I am not. But the in-game noises (gun firing, explosions, etc.) are very lifelike. At some times in the game you will be so into it with the added noises you will really think you are in there fighting the Soviets.

Controls 8/10- Many people complain about the controls but I see no problem. I've also heard that the XBOX version is harder to control than PS2, lies as far as I'm concerned. There is one flaw, the camera settings aren't great, just decent. You don't even have to manually aim. Does it get any easier?

Gameplay 9/10- This is not your average EA game, it is a good one, kidding, EA has good games and this is another one of them. This game is very addictive. The levels tend to be short, for that part so is the game, but it is so amazing. Surprise, there is no blood, despite all the gun battle. It is fairly easy, as in most games of this type, they guide you through the beginning missions. Figuring out what to do is no challenge. But stay low, as there are many many soldiers guarding every where and sometimes it is so heavy you will not be able to find your guy. Your soldiers actually help you in this game. WOW!!!

Overall- Buy this game if you're a big fan of squad based combat or if you just like killing off Soviets. It is very fun and addictive. Also, it would be a nice gesture for a friend of yours.
