Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home really makes Backyard Wrestling fun to play. But the game lacks what a lot of the newer wrestling games have. I found this game to be a little fun, but it gets boring after a few hours and the lack of a story makes it even more boring.

GAMEPLAY:
This is a wrestling game done pretty good. There are a few glitches in the game, but in a wrestling game, that's normal. The only problem I had with this game is that there really is no story to the game. You just wrestle. I wish they could of added some type of story mode or something so you would really be wrestling for more of a purpose than just to win. The fun part of this game is that you can use any items near you. You can pick up stuff and throw it at your opponent. You can climb up and jump off ladders. There are a lot of weapons and things you can do while your wreslting, which really makes it fun.

GRAPHICS:
The graphics in this game are alright. They are not excellent, but they could be a whole lot worse. Also, the game can be somewhat gory. When you play this game, expect to see blood and lots of it.

SOUND:
The soundtrack to the game is alright. It really depends on your taste of music. It includes some rap and punk rock music. It would of been nice if you could use custom soundtracks with this game, but you can't.

CONTROLS:
The controls in this game are really simple. They are not too hard to learn. Plus, the developers made things simple. If you want to climb up on something, all you have to do is run into it. That can cause some problems during the game if your trying to run at your opponent, but it can also make things more simple also. It just depends on the situation.

REPLAY:
There is not much replay value in this game after you play it for a few hours. There are not too many locations you can fight in and it just gets old after a while. Plus, it seems like all characters in the game are the same, so that makes it even more of the same thing after a while.

OVERALL:
Overall, this game can be fun. It really depends on the type of games you like. If you want a game that can go all out and you can use about anything as a weapon in a match, then you would like this game. However, the lack of a story makes this game a little boring after a while. I would only recommend somebody to rent this game.
