XIII

"A flawless FPS!"

I've been looking forward to XIII for quite some time now.It looked wicked awesome seeing how its the first cel-shaded FPS on the market.The story also wanted me to get it also.And after finally getting it,I have to say this is one of my favorite games EVER!!!! Now onto the review...

Story 10/10-
Out of all the FPS's I've played,most of them did not have good story's except for a select few. (Halo and Goldeneye had great story's)The story in this game is absolutely AMAZING.Your a man who doesnt remember who he is and is convicted of killing the president,but your memory is to faded and then your in this whole conspiracy and you must find out who you are.

Graphics 10/10-
I've played some Cel-shaded games before like Zelda:WW (Which I didnt like much) and Jet Set Radio Future (Which was alright)which had preety good graphics,but XIII graphics are flawless,the weapons,the characters,the enviroments,all perfect.

Sound 10/10-
First off,the voice overs in this game are excellent.David Duchovony does the voice of XIII.Adam West does the General,and somebody does the other secret agent lady (Cant remember her name) Anway,David and Adam do excellent jobs with there characters.

Gameplay 10/10-
When I started up the game in my Xbox and watched the first cut-scene and stuff,I loved it already.When I started actually playing,I was blown away at how good this friggin' game is! The gameplay is standard FPS like BUT....this game is based on a comic book so you get stuff like ''Blam!'' and ''NOOO!!!'' on the screen when you shoot people.When you use a sniper rifle or other sniper weapon on an enemy,it shows a three panel way of how the bullet hit him,and beleive me...IT NEVER GETS OLD.XIII also has your standard weapon set of a pistol,A dirty harry .44 magnum,A Sniper rifle,an AK-47,knives,and more.

Enemy Friendly AI 10/10-
This game IMO,has the best AI ever.Your enemy's take alittle bit before there aware of your presence,but good god,when they find out where you are,hold onto your seat! Im mean these guys are tough! They take cover,use there weapons effectively,and they try to kill you.IMO,I find the AI really hard....which is good.These guys are Government elites for a reason! lol.

Multiplayer 10/10-
The Multiplayer in this game is also very very very good.Xbox LIVE play is awesome,offline with 4 players and bots is good too.The bots though are friggin hard!!!! I like playing with my cousins and stuff too.But Xbox LIVE is awesome!

IMO,XIII is one of,if not the best,FPS out there on Xbox.If you Like FPS's or story-driven games,you'll absoulutely eat this up.
