Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3

"Amazing single player, Even better Live!"
I first had bought this game for online play, but the single player had excited me even more. The game is great, but like all game there is some minor things that may not be up to ''par'' with some people.
Graphics: 8/10
I really liked the opening video, the graphics are amazing. During gameplay the graphics are great as well, but a bit ''glitchy'' at times. The Thermal/Night vision looks amazing and very realistic. A also liked the lighting and shadowing effects.
Story: 6/10
Kind of basic, nothing much to the it, but there really doesn't need to be. Sort of a cuff' em kill the terrorist/resistance type of thing.
Difficulty: 7/10
When I played the first level on recruit it took me quite a long time to beat, but once you get use to the game and the controls it becomes more fun than hard.
Gameplay: 9/10
I know a 10/10 is high, but, it is fun and addictive. The display is great, you can see you health, your teams health, your ammo, and even the current gun that you are using. One bad thing that I didn't like was that you could not pick your character, but the game is also a fast paced mind teaser at times, making for fun, tactical playing. On single player your team can sometimes be a hassle but they usually come through. X-Box Live takes the game to a whole new level. You can talk to your teammates and engage in different types of combat. The rag-doll physics are also brilliant and hilarious.
Sound: 7/10
The sounds the guns and grenades make is outstanding, but I had a small problem with the voices... Sorry to say it but, there accents are kind of shaky. And to add on to that, all the terrorist/resistance sounds like the same person, this might just be me though.
Replay Value: 10/10
What makes the replay value so high is the massive amount of voice commands, and great missions you can do on single player. And the outstanding online play with X-Box Live.
Overall: 8/10
A good game to have if you have online play, or not. If bad accents don't both you (which it most likely won't), and you are thinking of getting this game you should.
Side note: I also herd that this game is coming out for Gamecube and PS2 in early/mid 2004, just thought I would mention that for people that were interested....
