"Why we should rent prior to purchase"

Graphics: while this game has wonderful graphics, in a world you could definitely get lost in. If falls way short of even a small amount of $19.99

The story line is very close to Cut Throat Island, and old PC game. This game like others from Bethesda have so much potential but fall way short of the Mark.

If this game was error free, NOTHING negative could ever be said about this game. It has so many missions, goals, or the typical capturing of other boats. A new twist, which I enjoyed so much, was the sword fighting, once you get the hang of it, there is only fun. Then you receive pistols, which added more spice to the game.

Some of the NPC comments are cheesy, but something added that very few other game have, a Loan Shark. Now that’s cool, borrow money and pay it back or get cut down.

Something I have never seen was the loan shark will hold money for you and let the interest compound, I have never seen that.

You can complete missions for any of the countries, and sometimes the one your working for will attempt to backstab you, “Dang that Smarts”

The controls are difficult to grasp, which detract from the game. The instruction Manual has a lot to be desired. Bethesda could have made things somewhat easier.

You have an opportunity to engage in naval battles which are really high speed, you get to see boats blow up, get to capture goods which float to the top or conquer the boat and sell it for a little chump change “Pay Day”

But then reality sets in and the defects of the game occur.....

You will face Freezing, ''Bad Saves'' (Which corrupt the entire file'' all your saved games will be considered bad saves, or the common screen going white will its loading. Another common glitch is the game restarting which occurs with the white screen.

I don’t know which I am more disappointed in he game, or When I called for Tech support and was told so many different explanations of how the games is not defective, that the fault is with the Xbox. Bethesda even attempted to run the thompson, samsung driver issue, which I thought was not only unprofessional, but totally lost my confidence as a consumer in bethesda

I am so heart broken that neither Pirates of the Caribbean, nor Elder Scrolls are worth anything more than a rental at best if at all possible keep it if you get it as a gift and trade it in, then it will have some value.
