James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing
Review by Thomas96XL
"A Masterpiece"
It's about time that EA stop trying to reproduce a game that lives up to Goldeneye. The result... a game that surpasses Goldreneye.
I'm giving this game a 9, because I feel that it's an instant classic.. it's fun, it's challenging, there was a lot of effort put into this game. I would also love to see EA use this same game engine in their own Tactical Military game, (comprable to Conflict: DS)
Gameplay:
This is the most important aspect of the game. The game plays very intuitively, the controls are logical, and well ordered. I dont' believe that the gameplay is perfect, but I think that it's good, and that it fits the game nicely. It's very easy to make use of Bond's various tools. I dont' think that people will have a problem with the Gameplay elemets of this game. Oh yeah, the game also has a little fight in it. As bond has gained the ability to throw a couple of punches and kicks. The fighting system is simple, but it fits very well within this bond game.
Sound:
The game has excellent sound effects.
The the sound of the gun firing, really gives it some degree of authenticity. The game has the traditional Bond Music, and as with every Bond movie, this game has been granted a very beautiful opening song by ''Mya.'' All of the sounds are crisp, and very fresh sounding. Everything sounds very natural. There's no problems with the sound that would be detrimental to overall game.
Graphics:
The game is beautiful, Bond is very detailed, especially his weapons. I has quite astonished at the level of detail that could be seen, not when bond as holding his weapon in hand, but when he had them strapped to is back. The main thing is that the graphics are appropriate for the game.
I really cant' say anything bad about his game. If you're in the mood for some action, then I suggest this game. I find that this game is a Masterpiece, because it has taken the Bond series, above and beyond Goldeneye. This game captures the very essence of a James Bond game. This is a fair representation of how game of the future will be. This is basically a movie. EA has shown that they are very good at making in theatrical games. (i.e Lord of the Rings)
A lot of times, games become tideus... but this game puts you right in the midst of action. Playing the game is fun, it ushers you on, because you just want to advance the story.
Overall, game gets a 9. A well deserved 9.
