The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay

"Riddick= Total Badass"

This would be my first review ever on Gamefaqs...so be nice. I like to review the Gameplay, Sound, Graphics, Replay, and Overall parts of a game, so here it goes.

You start out in a dream like sequence which gives you a chance to get used to the controls and the basics parts of the game. You learn stealth moves and how to use the darkness to your advantage...later on you get a shotgun to get the basics of gunplay. Once you've beaten this "mini" mission you wake up and find out whats really going on. You get thrown into a prison cell and meet other inmates who all have their own personality...some are nice guys and some just wanna kill you. You talk to some of the guys and think of a way to escape the prison. That's all I'm gonna tell you :)

Gameplay: Wonderful. I don't think it could be anymore perfect than it already is. There is a stealth aspect to the game that makes the game even more exciting and gives you different ways to kill your foes. The game is played in a first person view making the controls a bit troubling at times, but you'll get used to them quick.(10/10)

Sound: From the gunshots to the enemies slumping to the ground everything is near perfect. The guns sound very authentic and knocking somebody's teeth out couldn't sound better.(9/10)

Graphics: Some of the best I've ever seen. Sometimes the character models are a bit iffy, but its barely noticeable. The lighting effects steal the show in the Chronicles and the graphics are up to par with Doom 3.(9/10)

Replay: The game is pretty short...and the lack of any multiplayer modes doesn't make it any better. But the many difficulty setting makes you want to go back and play it again(7/10)

Overall: This game is great...thats all there is to it. I would recommend this game to anyone. Definitely a rent at the least. Overall I give the Chronicles of Riddick at 9/10.
