NCAA Football 2004

"Great football game....who knows what's in store in 2005?"

Introduction:

This game is pretty much your average college football game. The concept isn't too unique, but hey, it's a sports game! >_> Still, it's a fun game nevertheless.

Graphics and Sound: 9.5/10

The visuals are great. The game plays great, but only one complaint:
The characters tend to have some clipping problems in those little scenes between plays. The game has a replay after almost every play. It has a good audio commentary, but that sometimes tends to get annoying because they end up saying the same things over and over and over and over. Other than that, the sounds are great.

Controls: 10/10

Controls for this game are perfect and easy to use. You pick a play with whatever button it's marked as and you choose who to throw to with whatever button they're marked as. Black and White buttons give you an bird's-eye view of the field. That's helpful sometimes when you're up against a really long line of defense and you need to see how long it really is >_> or if you just need to review the play one last time.

Gameplay: 10/10

This is great too. It plays like a football game should play. There are optional difficulty levels and other features such as a Dynasty Mode, where you have you own football team, College Classics, where you relive those classic college football moments, and more.

Replay: 10/10

This game has a really good replay value. There are lots of pennants to collect, which offer boosts in the game or unlock stadiums/teams. That EA Bio thing is pretty cool too....It's fun trying to get that thing's levels to go up. You can just play this game over and over with your favorite teams all the time.

Overall: 10/10

This is a really good football game. It meets my expectations and is pretty entertaining. It should keep you playing for a while. I recommend this game to any football lovers, and especially to college football fans!
