Red Dead Revolver is a first-person-shooter game which throughout the story allows you to play many different characters.

CONTROLLABILITY: 88/100
Red Dead Revolver uses an odd format not seen to often in video games. To shoot you must hold one button and fire with another. Unlike most war games which in turn fire with one button throw projectiles with another button. With some practice you can get the hang of this game.

GRAPHICS: 79/100
For Xbox the graphics are a shame, but they are not the worst. PS2 graphics are no better but at least it has the old western movie form the 20's effect to it.

MUSIC: 98/100
Nothing better than the old western music from movies like Silverado. Music that would make John Wayne join a bar fight.

SFX: 94/100
Every shot fired is heard. In Red Dead Revolver you feel like you are really there just the noise of a shotgun being fired just makes this game even better. The shots fired from guns like the Bayonet Rifle are amazingly real. In some levels cannons are lit and before it hits you can hear it flying at you. Then when it hits there is that dynamite explosion noise added to it.

CHARACTERS: 97/100
The characters in Red Dead Revolver fit in together with the story very well. If you sent one guy on a mission you play as him. You even get to play as the enemy during the story.

GAME-PLAY: 100/100
If you love the old western, and hate the stupid criminal, Red Dead Revolver is the game for you. The story is classic, You can do nothing to prevent the murder of your family, now ten years later you seek revenge. As you play through the 20+ chapters you experience life on the edge in old western civilization.

DIFFICULTY: 100/100
An indefinitely challenging game. If you play for 24 hours straight without stopping you may possibly be able to make it half-way through. Other than that it will take you four or more tries to beat each chapter.

ENJOYMENT: 100/100
You cannot play this game and tell anyone it's not fun. You should be taken down to the river and whipped if you think this game is not fun. Red Dead Revolver brings truck loads of excitement into what you call a video game.

ADDICTION: 99/100
The one percent that is not addicting is when you get angry at it because it's very difficult at times. But other than that Red Dead Revolver is a lot like drugs.

RENT or BUY
Buy it. Unless you can rent it for 3 months buy it.

OVERALL: 95/100
Red Dead Revolver is awsome what more is there to say!?!
