Fuzion Frenzy

Gameplay

Fuzion Frenzy plays more or less Mario Party for the X-Box. Many of the mini-games in Fuzion Frenzy are blatant ripoffs of Mario Party's, and the point system is similar. Now. The difference between Fuzion Frenzy and Mario Party is that one of them is worth playing. Fuzion Frenzy features rather clunky controls for some mini-games, and becomes boring fast. The minigames are unoriginal and rarely a challenge, unless you're playing with friends, and then the games just become a frustration. No medals for gameplay.

Sound

Mediocre. The characters' little chip-ins are unfunny, unoriginal, and unneeded. Especially "Zak's Zak aip zak shala pak chak attack" or something. Who the hell scripted this game? He's probably a struggling scat artist in his free time. The non-character sounds are nothing special, and do not help the game in any way. The announcer is suicide-inducingly annoying, and I don't think he once says anything helpful.

Multiplayer/Replay Value

This game was made to be a multiplayer game. I pity you if you bought it to play alone. This game is good to kill time for 30 minute periods, but I could never see myself playing this as a substitute to Mario Party. As for replay value, I guess... if you're not sick of it by the time you're done, you couldplay it again. I've never met anyone who fit met this description, though.

Buy/Rent

Don't buy or rent this game. Get Halo for $25 or less, because the Fuzion Frenzy demo is included on the Halo disk. The demo is more Fuzion Frenzy than anyone in their right mind will be able to stand. Enjoy.

If you don't want to get Halo because of the M rating, and you have a 64 or Gamecube, buy one of the many Mario Party titles (there's 4 or 5 now, I think). You'll have 10 times the fun.
Overall

This only gets a 4 because it keeps you amused while someone's setting up a new game type in Halo. It's a mediocre game with mediocre controls, mediocre sound, and a very low fun factor.
