"Spiderman does what a spider can; perfectly"

Introduction
Super Hero Video Game Genre's. Okay, let's get something straight. For the most part, most of them suck. Superman for example. Nowadays, the Superhero game genre has some bad history to it due to some previous titles, and that makes it all the harder for a superhero game to be considered good.

That's where Spider-Man 2 comes in.

Graphics: 9/10
Wow. That's all I have to say, but this games graphics are so nice that I feel it important for me to go into detail.

The city is New York, New York. You are free; swing your web, walk on the street, jump ontop of a car and let it carry you, or jump from rooftop to rooftop. Whatever way you choose, you will get an upclose and personal view of how well crafted the city is. Did you know that the Spider-Man 2 creators, Activision to be specific, graphically detailed every last building to match the current New York city? That's dedication.

Sound: 9/10
The music in Spider-Man 2 is wonderful. Activision uses the actual movies orchestra to draw you into the Spider-Man world, and they do an excellent job at displaying that music.

However... there's the voice acting. Now, most of the voice acting is very well done, however, there are certain parts where professional voice acting is lacking. For example, when Spider-Man says "I'd better be more careful." Seriously, who says that to themselves out loud? Bah. With that minor bother aside, the rest of this games sound is very incredible, all the way down to the wind resistance you hear when you dive off a skyscraper straight into the busy New York streets.

Gameplay: 10/10. (I would give it a 20/10 if I could!)
The gameplay in this game is so fantastically incredible. It's truly indescribable how much fun you can, and will have, swinging from building to building. The experience is wonderful and frankly doesn't get old fast. The physics in this game make the web slinging so fun, and mixed with the graphic and sound, this game will present you with a very well done, very very fun and enjoyable game for both players and viewers.

Combat: 10/10
Yes, the combat... a very dreaded part of SuperHero games. However, you will be delightfully surprised to learn that the combat system in Spider-Man 2 is quite enjoyable. I can't tell you the pleasure I get from shooting a web at a criminal, pulling him into me, then jumping up into the air at full force with him in my arms, then doing a backflip/kick on him and seeing him shoot down to the cold cement like a meteor, and all in slow motion, too. (Is that normal?)

There are a few things in the combat system that aren't the best, or most polished, but overall I feel that the combat system was done well and especially done well for a superhero game.

Fun Factor: 10/10 (This I would also give a 20/10 if I could).
Ok. I think its safe as hell to say that this game is fun as all hell. Incredible. You could literally web sling around the city for hours straight! Not only that, but as you buy upgrades to make your web swinging speed faster, you will have more and more fun the faster you swing.

However, there are some inclosed missions that I find to be bothersome at times, but overall I also feel that the good outweighs the bad. BIG time. This game is undoubtedly fun as hell.

Overall: 10/10 (This I would give a 50/10 if I could).
This game is amazing. I can't even describe the experience of swinging around New York city, it can only be spent by trying the game out.

I've wasted enough of your time by providing this review to read. What I really should have been writing, though, is that you need to stop reading and start web-slinging. This game is that good.

Hope you enjoyed my review, now go have some fun by playing as Spider-Man!
