"Handling ruins the game"

This is one of the most overrated game I have ever seen.

Control:
I don't understand why people can actually enjoy the game with these HORRIBLE controls. Your car slides so much it's hard to make a turn with out going off the track. The handling of the cars is so poor I wonder why this game was released. The only reason I can think of the controls of being so bad is that it wants to be a simulation of what its like in real life.

Sound:
This is the poorest custom sound track I have ever seen. It plays the same songs over and over again. The custom soundtrack is useless because it choose like 5 songs and plays just them, doesn't care about any other songs in that soundtrack it only plays a couple. I don't know why it dose this. As for sound effects it sound just like a normal racing game.

Graphics:
I think this is where all the hype is. At launch Microsoft really wanted to show off what Xbox could do and this game is a great example of that. It looks almost real, bright vivid color. I liked the snow courses the best. they looked so neat. Every course looks good.

Game – Play:
There are 2 difficulties, Hard and Easy. Hard is impossible. When I say it's impossible, I'm not kidding its outragish. If you're the kind of person that always likes getting 1st place every time; you can just forget it. Let me tell you something about easy, it's really really easy. In hard mode you cant restart the race……in easy mode you can restart the race as many times as you like. Not that you need it. In every course you'll butcher your appoinets. You get so far ahead of every one, it's sad. I wish there was a medium (or at least a restart race feature in hard mode), its either you lose every race or you win every race.
After getting that out of the way now I can talk about the real meat of the game. There are all sorts of courses in Ralli Sport Challenge. Ranging for snow to going up a steep mountain. What I really liked doing was going over a bump, seeing my car go up in the air and then slamming to the ground. There's plenty of that in Ralli Sport Challenge and I love it. There are 30 or so different cars, all for different types of courses. But what really gets on my nerves is after you choose your car, you CANNOT change it until you finish the tournament you are in. So if you choose the wrong car you have to restart the tournament.

In the end Ralli Sport Challenge looks really nice and looks like a lot of fun if you're watching someone else play it. For me it was pure aggregation. The game looks very pretty but it controls like a “mo fo”.
