DRIV3R

"Driv3r is OK but Driver 2 is still the best of the series."

~Introduction ~

Driv3r or Driver 3 is the third part in the Driver series. Driver 1 & 2 were on the playstation, people really liked them, Driver 2 even had a multi player! Driv3r is good but a little disappointing I'll explain why :

~ Gameplay: 8/10 ~

Like it name says, you drive with cars, boats and motorbikes in Miami, Nice and Istanbul. If your car is wrecked you can get out and steal another one. New in Driv3r is the ability of shooting people, riding over them, crushing benches, get out your car even if it's in the water on it's roof, you can swim (your health will decrease after some time in the water) you can turn cops on or off in take a ride. So everybody says, cool Driv3r has a lot of new things in and the old stuff is in it too, but.... There is NO multi player, it's a little disappointing because I used to drive with my friend and play cops 'n robbers in Driver 2. Shooting : it's NOT what it should be, you can't aim, you have to turn your camera with the right analog stick so it points at the target, yes it has an auto aim function but I don't think it works properly. There's an undercover and Driving Games mode like in Driver 1 & 2. If you like to mess with the cops enter a cheat or two and have some fun. Also there are some Tommy Vercellis that have to be killed to get some mini games.

~ Story 7/10 ~

Tanner is back! Still an undercover cop and getting bad guys, do some missions and unlock Istanbul!

~ Graphics/Sound 8.5/10 ~

The graphics are pretty good, remember the pixelized graphics on Playstation or GameBoy Advance? Well now you can experience some good quality cities, cars, ...
There are a lot of cars, boats and motorbikes for you to ride or steal ^^, but beware of the cops. If you play the game a lot you probably found the go kart. The music in this game is great, it has some very cool songs and the motors and other sounds in the city are pretty realistic.

~ Play Time/Replayability : 9/10 ~

There are a lot of missions so if you're good at it, it'll be probably not a long game for you but if you haven't played the other Drivers or GTA you'll probably want to practice first in the "Take a ride mode" with cops on or off. When you completed the missions cheats & Istanbul will become available, you can drive in these cities and explore, they're pretty big so it'll take some time for you if you want to see all things in the city, don't forget you can open some doors now.

~ Overall 8/10 ~

A cool third part, with some nice new features, too bad it doesn't have a multi player. Great music, realistic sounds, 3 cities, ... al this makes Driv3r a pretty good game.

Buy or Rent : If you liked the other Driver games and the GTA series you'll probably like this game too. So...buy if you want to complete your collection.
