Spawn: Armageddon

"Spawn: armageddon. The land down under."

Ok the basis of the game is sort of tedious. Kill things and get upgrades to kill things that are stronger. The whole game is a bloody massacre of dozens of ways to kill your foes. But I think I shall break it down into catrgories for you all of my viewers.

Graphics: 8/10

Very original. Very nicely detailed monsters but the spells (Although pretty nice) are kind of generic. Spawn himself isn't that detailed but in cutscenes its very cool. The enemys and you are greatly animated, meaning that your attacks and the such are nicely animated. Spawn: armageddon also has a great framerate so it makes combat really quick paced and nice. My details for spawns graphics are:
Framerate: 10/10
Detail: 9/10
Animation: 10/10
Cinematics: 9/10

Storyline: 7.5/10

It is the same old storyline as the comic books but for those of you who do not want to be spoiled do not fret, as I shall not speak of any storylineas to make you people not dislike or not like it. But the detailed ratings are:
Originality: 9/10*
Goodness factor: 8
* originality may be a good thing if you haven't read comic book but if you have read it than that would downgrade the originality (Less of a surprise).

Gameplay!: 8/10

This is where the game REALLY shines!!! You get tons of weapons and lots of things to kill! You even get spells that cost a system like mana (Not the game) There are red orbs that heal you, green orbs that heal your mana like stuff, and blue orbs from each kill that let you buy upgrades to your weapons and health and mana at the end of each level. but seriously this game is quite hard. It gets really hard in the first level and sometimes you just want to quit because of the puzzles. And same with overloads of enemys. E.G. In one level there is barely any healing orbs but there are monsters (Tons of em) that generate little shooting eyeballs. Very annoying. But the game keeps you into it with all of its weapons and gore and enemys. The enemys vary in powers from brutes to angels, You cannot pick a single strategy through the whole game. Some enemys prefer agility while others are practically invincible. the game immerses you pretty well with all of its gore and evilness. here are the details for my gameplay:
Immersion: 8/10
Scaryness: 10/10*
gameplay: 5/10**

* If you do not like scary games this would be only a rent for you. In the later levels the enemys are pretty scary. But the music warns you when an enemy is near.
** Some of you may find it tedious but in the later levels it is pretty fun.

Rent or buy? RENT! or if you like my review enough BUY! It is a pretty cheap game and lots of people like it.
