Dungeons & Dragons Heroes

"A Poor Attempt at a Hack-N-Slash Game"
I know the makers of D&D want to suck every penny out of this series, but they didn't have to sink THIS low. This game is so bad on so many level, I just can't begin to describe all of it's flaws....
Gameplay: 4/10
Well, you have your basic top-down view on your character. You start out in a dungeon (HOLY CRAP, HOW COULD YOU HAVE GUESSED!?) and you must save the kingdom from some evil bad guy. Woo.....hoo.....how many times have we done this before? Okay, besides the story, you just run around with your made up character and you HACK, AND SLASH until your fingers break. Boring, so boring. Also, the enemies are all alike, they range from spiders to goblins, but none of them take cover when attacked or do anything but charge the enemy even if your buddies are being slaughtered. Stupid AI ruins games...
Graphics 5/10
Well, they're passable. But, nothing outstanding. I've seen these on the N64 or the PSone sadly. Xbox can do better, way better. The textures are blurry. Although, the water DOES look nice, too bad there's like two ponds in the game (wah). The character's animations are really choppy, and when there are too many baddies on-screen at once, it get choppy. I hate to see bad development at it's worst.
Controls 1/10
I hate these controls, I end up getting my stupid camera in the wall while trying to slash to bad guy to peices. Arg, stupid stupid cameras are what screw most good games. It's a shame, a darn tootin' shame.
Replayability: moderately low
Well, once you beat the short Single Player.....there it's anything to do left. Why would you play it over again? That'd be moronic, seriously.
Rent or Buy.
Don't rent or buy, unless you desperately need a cheap gift for your RPG/hack and slash nerdy roommate. Otherwise, just leave this game alone.
