Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Review by BettleBoy
"Wow! Now this is what I'd like to see from all the games I play..."
Alright, here we go. In this game, you are a young boy named Harry Potter who is attending his first year and a wizarding school named Hogwarts School of Craft and Wizardry. It's a very good, crisp, nice, long game, with five stars all over it. Now this is why I thought the game was a game at it's finest.
Gameplay: 9/10
Amazing! Outstanding! Brillant! These are just some of the words used to describe the gameplay. First of all, you're a boy named Harry Potter to start off with, and you're attending Hogwarts. You first start off by walking into a wand shop. A man there named Ollivander will greet you. After you pick you're wand, you will go through a series of tests to prove yourself worthy of attending the school for wizards! It's also interesting because you're feild of gameplay is HUGE! Once you arrive at Hogwarts, there are so many places to discover, so many class to attend, and many hidden cards you will need to find to complete your collection. But not all the gameplay is wonderful. There are some times where a glitch will occur and you can see through a wall. There also many load screens, which can sometimes be annoying in your gameplay. But other than these few flaws, the gameplay of this game is great!
Graphics: 8/10
Well the graphics of this game was stunning! They were top-of-the-line, and that's just it. The characters faces were crisp, the movements were excellent, and the castle was AMAZING!
Controls: 10/10
There was nothing wrong with the controls, everything was nicely done so you did not have to press too many buttons at a time........
Replay Value: 4/10
Well, the replay value stinks. That's it. It just stinks. Once you beat the game, it's basically all just boring, becuase you already have done everything once. So the replay value just stinks.
Buy or Rent?
For being a wonderful game, but no good replay value, I'd say to rent it, but if you actually like this game, I'd say buy it, that what I did with fifty of my dollars, and I have no regrets.
Overall Value: 9/10
