Burnout 3: Takedown

"Great"

One of the best games I have ever played basically sums this up! I am not at all a fan of racing games, I hate Need For Speed Underground,I hate Grand Turismo, I hate Ridge Racer etc... etc... However this game is bloody great!

Graphics - Colourful, Crisp, Clean, some of the best I have seen on X-Box! I couldnt point out any flaws

Sound - The actual engine noises, crash noises, sound effects etc.. are great. however the soundtrack certainly has its faults. There is far to much annoying skater rock (some people may like it) This would be a problem on the Playstation two although on the X Box version you can import your own soundtracks (Queen, Bon Jovi, dream theater all work really well!) so the only flaw in the sound department is the crappy Skater Rock which can easily be sorted.

Controls - I have played the Playstation two version and in all honesty the controls are a hell of a lot better although I bought the XB version and you get to grips with the controls reasonably fast.

Lifespan - Plenty of things to unlock, Plenty of things to do etc... It will last you a hell of a long time

Gameplay -Like I said one of the best games I've played, no faults in the gameplay at all, everything works perfectly and the Takedown mode is bloody brilliant.

Best Things:
-Takedown mode
-Probably the most fun game I have expirienced
-Fast paced, challenging, race modes

Worst Things:
-Skater Rock soundtrack
-Annoying Radio Host
-Clever A.I might annoy crap players (but that ain't my problem!)

Overall - This is the only other racing game I have ever enjoyed and bought (the other being Mario Cart). It is great in just about every way and there aren't any big flaws to speak of. It is definitely worth my money and I really do suggest that you buy it as soon as possible! ( I have bought this game to keep me occupied till Christmas and Im fairly sure that it will, no problem)
