Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

"A GREAT game, nonetheless."

Introduction
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is a very, very fun game. I bought the game for PC and loved it so I got it for XBox and guess what? I LOVE IT!

Graphics
The graphics for Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance are AMAZING! Since there are only three characters in the game; an Archer, a Sorcerer, and a Dwarf.. the details on the characters are amazing. For example, the Dwarf is actually small like it should be, and it is "stocky" (Dwarves are "short and stocky")! The main detail in this game- the detail that I like the most is that when you walk in the water.. It actually makes lines that lead to where you are! The graphics are just AMAZING!

Sound
The sound is very high-quality in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. For one, the rats actually make the squeaky sounds that they make in real-life when they chase after you to bite you. I like the way the players "grunt" when they attack their enemies and the way that you hear a ding sound when an enemy either blocks a sword or is struck by one. The sound is EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Controls
The controls are fairly easy in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. The easiest control is the way that you move. You use the left thumbstick to move which I love because it takes no effort. I like how the buttons are placed and they only thing that I dislike are the way you drink potions. For some reason, I just don't like the fact that in this game; you drink potions using the |Left| and |Right| Triggers.

Gameplay
The gameplay in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is great! There are 20+ levels and the fact that you get to fight bosses ever once in a while "spices" up the game. This game made me want to play the game for HOURS straight!

Storyline
The storyline for Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is awesome. I like the great fantasy worlds and the way that the guy got attacked by Bandits and is seeking vengeance. The game is a story in itself and is very, very fun!

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is a very, very good game. I recommend it to all UNLESS you are not allowed to play games with violence. I'm glad that there is a second Baldur's Gate because this game is VERY fun!
