Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

"An excellent plane fighter"

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is the sequel to the highly-popular arcade game. Its a game where you spend all your time in a plane, and fighting enemy gangs.

Graphics~8/10
No major complaints here. The graphics are stellar. especially the cut scenes and when planes blow up. When you fly low near water, little water droplets sprinkle the camera. That is very cool.

Sound~9/10
The sound is superb. There is great voice acting for all the characters, and the planes sound really nice as well. There isn't a lot of music in the game, but whats there is good.

Controls~8/10
The controls for the game are very good. They are very easy and quick to learn. Doing your special moves (barrel roll, stuff like that) can be tricky to learn at first, and thats why the controls were not given a perfect score.

Game play~9/10
The game play is excellent in CS: High Road to Revenge. Its very well mixed between do-what-you-want-to areas and straight forward missions. There are tons of areas to explore, and a lot of missions to do throughout the game. It can be a little frustrating at times when your stuck, but overall is very fun.

Story~10/10
I love this story! Its set in an alternate nineteen-thirties US. The US has just fought the Great War, and was split up into several territories. The only way to get around now is by plane or zeppelin (blimp-like thing). The story is never predictable, and has a lot of double-crossing, which is great.

On line-10/10
Quite possibly the best X-box Live game there is. There is never any lag, which is wonderful. On line is extremely fun, especially dogfight. This game isnt complete without X-box live.

Challenge~5/10 (1=easy, 10=hard
This game isn't very hard, and some people like that. I wish it could have been a little harder on "hard" difficulty.

Replay-9/10
With X-box live you just might be playing this game forever. Single-player is definitly worth a couple times through, even though its not very long

If your a fan of plane games, like Ace Combat, you should definitely buy this title. If your not, give it a rent for sure
