Burnout 3: Takedown

"The racing game of my dreams."

Well, where should I start... this game is amazing. I had heard that this game was awesome for a while... and just recently, I decided to get it. My first impression... Wow.

Graphics: 10/10

These graphics are breathtaking. The cars on this game look real, the shine on them is great. The environments are also very well done, with many cars driving around. The cars, when wrecked, still look really good. It's kind of hard to wreck them, because they look so good. No disapointments here, a perfect 10 out of 10.

Sound: 9/10

The car noises are very good also. The cars engine's sound real, but the shifting noises are a little weird. The sounds when wrecking with are car sound just like you think it should... BOOM. The music is licensed and sounds really good, and if you're not into the kind of music on there, you can always use custom soundtracks. Only the disapointments of the weird shifting noises gives this a 9 out of 10.

Gameplay: 10/10

Don't get me wrong... this is addicting gameplay. There are several gameplay modes to select, all with tons of replay value. There is race mode, time attack, road rage, and everyone's favorite, crash mode. The cars are very fast, and swerving through traffic just doesn't get old. In crash mode, you of course, are placed in a sceneario in which you try to cause a lot of damage. Road Rage, your main goal is to takedown, or knockout, the opponent. Time attack, is pretty simple. All you do is try to get a record time, in a race course. And in race mode, you basically.... race against other cars. This is very fun to play with friends. No disapointments in gameplay, a 10 out of 10.

Replay Value: 10/10

With many cars and tracks to unlock, you will be playing this long after you get it. A very easy 10 out of 10.

Overall: 10/10

This is easily the best racing game I have evr played, with many cars, wrecks, tracks, and fun you will love this game. A super 10... out of 10.

Buy/Rent/Don't Play

Buy is my choice. If you rent it, you will still be wanting more. I'm not saying you shouldn't rent it, but if you want to have more fun, buy it.
