" I'm unsure as to how you could call this a game in any sense"

The premise of The Guy Game could actually make for something both extremely innovative, and very challenging. Unfortunately, Take Two misses both marks, and it comes out as a sloppy trivia game that couldn't hold its own in the market. If you've ever played You Don't Know Jack, then you should know exactly what to expect from the trivia-portion of the game. That's not to say YDKJ fans should run out and buy this game. There's a detrimental value that lays within the guy game, and that's the novelty factor. The target audience will be sincerely annoyed, and will realize that they don't need a game to tease them for stuff that's already all over their computer.

Being offensive shouldn't even be a factor. When you go out to buy a game, the ESRB has a set system so you know what to buy. I'm telling you now, you aren't going to want to have this game around your parents whether they allow it or not. Actually, you may just want to hide this with the rest of your soft collection. However, there's no way The Guy Game could warrant a purchase, so if you've really got your heart set on it, a short rental will reveal that the game reveals about as much as a TV-movie.

Answering trivia questions for hours on end is not my idea of fun. Especially not if there's a broad on your TV screen that's flashing you with the promise of the censor going away if you can get 90% of the questions right for the said round. Needless to say, there's plenty of arousing material. Unlocking all of the videos, and pictures of your savvy broads will take a lot more time than it could ever be worth. While some games have pictures and small videos as unlockables, they stand as the only real reason why The Guy Game warrants any interest.

If it's not bad enough that companies are trying to release trivia games in an age of Morrowind, and Halo, then maybe The Guy Game can better impose its faults through the only three mini-games that are actually playable throughout. In Ballz Out you'll be trying to knock a load of falling balls off of a picture. In Ballz In you'll be playing a soccer-esque game which has you running back and forth shooting a ball into your opponents goal. In Ballz Shots you'll be shooting your ball into random holes. It's all very annoying, it's all very repetitive.

The heart of the game is obviously the questions, but what are they like? I learned quite a bit from this game. Not very useful, but I still learned enough as to where I can spew out a few quirky facts directly from the game. Some questions may be asking if your “hottie” knows what U.R.L. means. She then gives a blank stare and you are either asked to guess if she's right or wrong, or which wrong answer she'll chose. In this case, the wrong answer she said was, “I don't ******* know!” The whole game goes on in nearly the same manner, and your lovely ladies are exploited to no end. Hint: There's a 90% chance the girl's wrong.

TGG's menus are very sloppy, much like the rest of the game. However, the in game visuals are all either blank screens with trivia, or a real-time video of a girl stripping. While this may sound like the formula for success for some, the second our secondary woman host asks us to “get your hands off your ***** and onto your control” you know you're playing a game that you don't really want to touch. White trash at its finest.

Overall, Take Two did a half assed job, which as always, results in a half assed game. There was not any fun to be taken out of the guy game, and while some of the material is extremely hot, you have to work far too hard to get it. Working for three hours to see ten minutes of mild nudity is both degrading, and a complete waist of time. So it's official, I've wasted a lot of time, and have to beg that you will not follow in my footsteps.
