"Sagas is just your average DBZ game"

The game is about Dragon Ball Z's saiyan saga to the cell saga. Its like your playing the series in their shoes. Basically its one of those "defeat all enemeis on screen and proceed further". You can do all sorts of stuff on it. You play as Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Trunks. Each have their own energy blast "ex. kamehameha" when you unlock it eventually during the Saiyan saga. The effects are great though. You can blast gigantic mountains into oblivion.

Game play: As I Said before the game play is similar to the old battle toads game for Nintendo except its in 3d. There are bunch of awesome stuff in the show you can do. Hunt dragon balls(you have to in this game, it isnt that hard though). You can fly(about 5 feet off the ground), teleport, throw enemies, and perform multiple combos. You access z store type of place throughout the point of each level to buy new moves and you go around looking for Z coins. What was unpredictable is if you become normal from becoming SSJ during the Frieza saga you must keep punching Frieza until your Super Saiyan meter picks up. Then you turn SSJ again. When your normal, your power does NOT effect Frieza at all. Same goes with Cell. Besides the main villains of the game. There are the minor ones you get to fight. Such as Raditz, Nappa, the entire ginyu force(cept for Guldo).

Story: You play through the Saiyan, Namek, Frieza, Yardrat(a saga made up), Trunks, Cell, Cell Games sagas. Thats actually qiute a lot. After you beat each level you get movie clips taken from the show with modern voices. But these clips are in transparent red and its in "Last time on DBZ" style fasion.

Replay value: The replay value is meh. All you get is a Pendulem room which you saw that wasn't accessable in the beginning. You're able to play as your favorite character(and choose their outfits) in any level, plus you can be the other Z fighters as well, USSJ Broly, and Bardock.

Buy or rent?: This is something else. If your new to DBZ, I'd say rent this. You'l lnever put the controller down and you could beat it in one day. I've boughten this for $50 dollars and I'm like...Is it over already? You could beat it in about 7 hours of your time. If your true to DBZ, then I'd say buy it.
