"Oh Noez! A droid! Oh noez! It killed me! It killed me again! And again...! And..."

The game based on the long awaited (long awaited by fans of the series, anyway) Star Wars Episode III is here! And... it ain't half bad.

GRAPHICS: 7/10

The graphics are far to PS2 friendly. One of the games low points, in fact. That doesn't mean they're bad, though. The look pretty good. Not much to say about it. But as usual, I always had to adjust my screen brightness for it just like all the other star wars games, because it was either to bright and colorful, or far to dark. Still, after level 6, every single level is huge, and beautiful as hell.

GAMEPLAY: 8/10

The first five minutes of the game you'll have a smile on your face. Maybe longer than that. Decapitating those pesky droids has never been so easy... or, so hard. But I'll get to that later. The controls are like most sword based games out there: X for basic attack, Y for strong, and B for.... various other things. And, of course, you can link them together for amazing combos.
Oh, and, don't forget the force. We all love the force. You can push, throw, use mind control, even use lightning. There's more, obviously. There's a reasonably large amount of levels, and when you complete them, you can sometimes even unlock challenges, lengthening the game experience. kinda repetitive, though.

DIFFICULTY: 8/10

errm... see title. :x
The game starts reasonably "difficult" enough, but as you progress, enemies become bosses, and bosses become.... hell. You just start cursing. it's not like Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry 3 or anything, because here, you will get by after a few tries, but not without a reasonable amount of piss-off. It's as if boss combos... never end. Because the occasional one does have hellishly long death dealers. Argh.

OVERALL: BUY OR RENT?

Rent. the game is pretty short, and, even with the challenges, it's still kind of short. And a bit repetitive. Still great, though.
