WWE WrestleMania 21

"This game could have been a lot better"

The Xbox has a very bad history of wrestling games and when I heard that WM21 was coming out I had very high hopes for it because the Xbox tends to be the most powerful of the 3 major consoles. When it finally came out I heard that the online play didn't work, but I didn't care because I stopped using online play when people I played with quit when I was winning. So I bought the game even though everyone was complaining about it, and I`m glad that I did. The game has some of the most stunning graphics that I have every seen in a wrestling game on any of the 3 major consoles. The controls are very easy to use once you learn them, but the reversal system takes some getting used to, but once you learn the timing it will be easy to use effectively. The load times are the only weak point. They are so long that I could make a three egg omelet between load times.

Okay the load times are not "that" bad, but they are still very long and is the games only weak point.

The story mode has full voice overs from many WWE Superstars and have the best cut-scenes of all WWE games, but has no branching story points so you have to win a match to advance. The AI is weak in some aspects but on a higher difficulty setting the AI gets better. The roster for the WWE superstars are somewhat limited but has key wrestlers such as Batista, Triple H, Undertaker, JBL, John Cena, and for the first time ever fan favorite, Eugene Dinsmore. Wrestlers such as Heidenriech, Maven, Carlito Caribbean Cool, La Resistance, Gene Snitsky, and Paul London. The CAW could be a little better, but it is an alright first try for Studio Gigante. This game may want to be rented before buying as it seems only die-hard fans of the wrestling franchise. I liked this game even though people were saying bad stuff about it so its just a matter of opinion

This was a decent first try for Studio Gigante and a sequel would be welcomed by me.
