"Conker the King"

Conker: Live and Reloaded is a multi player based remake of the Nintendo 64 game, Conker's Bad Fur Day. The game is slightly altered, but kept true to the original version. The remake is beautifully remade, and the multi player is too good to be true.

Story 10/10 - The single player story mode is a remake of the Nintendo 64 Conker's Bad Fur Day. While they kept a majority of the game's ideas and thoughts, they did change slightly to a few aspects in the game. You are Conker, a red squirrel. The beginning cut scene is Conker sitting on the throne in a castle, and he begins to tell how he happened to become king. The game begins with Conker calling home to tell Berri, his rodent girlfriend that he will be late coming home because he's hanging out with a couple guys going off to war in the morning. He hangs up the phone and gets drunk. After a long night of drinking Conker tries to walk home. He wakes up in the morning to find himself lost. As he sobers up he sets forth to find his way home. As this is happening, the panther king in a castle not too far away is having troubles getting his glass of milk to balance on. The evil professor, determined to create a nazi like army of teddy bears, decides that the only way to fix the gap on the table is to replace the gap with a red squirrel, which just happens to be Conker. In the game you will run into many enemies, allies, and hilarious dialog and objectives. There are plenty of puns and making fun of movies such as Alien, Matrix, and Saving Private Ryan. Single player story mode is well enough to keep you interested in the game. Once you beat the game through, it gives you the ability to replay through it once again while being uncensored. This means swearing, nudity, etc.

There is also a story mode in multi player called Chapter X. This explains what happened before Conker's Bad Fur Day. This is the was between the tediz and SHC (or the squirrels) . You play through Chapter X as either the SHC or the Tediz. Both will come with different outcomes. One you play through chapter X you unlock potty mouth which allows swearing on Xbox Live, and multi player.

Game Play 10/10 - Like I previously said, the single player game is a remake of the Nintendo 64 version with slight differences. There are more villains, and more variety of villains such as the dead baby dolls. You no longer have the frying pan as a weapon.. you now wield a bat with nails in it. But other than that it maintains the same difficulty and concept of CBFD.

Multi player is a whole new game, however. It much different than the multi player in Conker's Bad Fur Day, and is similar to the It's War chapter in the single player missions. Whether you are playing xbox live or against the dumbots, the game is very fun. There is an array of vehicles, and levels to choose from. There are many different scenarios to play, such as Beach dead where the SHC have to make it up the beach while the Tediz defend it. There is capture the flag, bomb the base, and just frag the other team. What I like most about the game is there is no fighting between team mates over weapons and vehicles because you choose your job class. Each job class comes with it's own weapons and abilities. So a sneaker cannot drive a plane, you need to be a sky jockey to do that. There are upgrades on the battle field which upgrade your weapons and abilities. Each job class has their own unique abilities and its fun to explore which each one can do. Yet I find it a bit unbalanced, because I believe the sneaker is too powerful, and they should have dumb him down a bit. There are unlockables and medals you win from completing objectives and achieving a certain amount of kills with job classes on xbox live, which will want you to keep playing.

Audio 10/10 - It is hard to believe that you will be tired of Conker, and all of the character in the game with their witty remarks and jokes. The game is just too funny to not laugh. Not laughing is just not happening. The dialog is so good, and the characters' voices seem to fit their personality. You will find the voices and acting very entertaining. Without the audio and great hilarious acting, this game would not be half as great as it is. You will find yourself entertained by the professor, conker, the tediz, SHC, and the song sung by the Great Mighty Poo.

Video 9/10 - The remodeling of the game is spectacular. Conker's fur actually looks like fur. The environment is beautifully remade. Every character has a new detail and the game looks so beautifully put together. The only problem I have is the multi player. While the characters, and maps looks so beautiful together, it gets too jumpy at points. But it isn't enough to make the game unenjoyable. As a matter of a fact it looks really great.

Re-Playability 10/10 The game is very funny and great to play. Once you beat the story mode, you're going to want to play it again uncensored. There is a Chapters section so you can jump around to show your friends your favorites scenes without having to play through again saving. There are lots of multi player modes, and scenarios to play through. You can learn the different classes and their abilities, and it is a lot of fun on Xbox Live. If you are looking for extra story, you can play chapter X. This game is very addictive, and you will find yourself absorbed into the multi player gaming with hundreds on xbox live or with a friend or yourself against dumbots. I was glad with how much variety the game offers, and it will keep you wanting to play more.

To Rent or Buy? There are two things you need to take into consideration before buying this game - 1) can you handle crude and malevolent humor? 2) Can you accept cute adorable Tediz as a super enemy?
If you said yes to both of those questions than without a doubt, rush to your local store now and buy this game!!! This game is definitely worth the money, and time. You will laugh yourself to tears and be so interested in the game that you won't want to put it down. Conker Live and Reloaded, as of now, is without a doubt King of Xbox games.
